We won a championship this year since my team got together with Penske Shocks. We put the shocks on and it woke our Big Block program up. We had a real good year and honestly the shocks are just unparalleled to anything else. Having the at track support from Dave and Aaron at the shop supporting us has been a breath of fresh air for our program.
I’ve always heard about Penske being the best of the best in terms of reliability, precision and great customer service. Being fairly new to Penske Shocks and with the help of the Staff at Penske I’ve been able to get in the right direction on chassis setup and with bettering my Drag race times and at the same time making the car way more stable at high speeds making it all a win in my book. Hopefully to continue on and also to make the suspension better and car as a whole with their great service and experience in the near future!
Your suspension is one of the most important parts of your machine and I wouldn’t trust anyone else but Custom Axis to handle it. My shocks have allowed me to improve my lap times resulting in better finishes. Micah has been great to work with, turnaround time has been quick along with quality work. Micah is always interested in my feedback looking for ways to improve the shocks. Best shocks and people to work with hands down!
I run Penske 8300's because of the wide range of adjustability and the great customer service. They always keep the suspension under control and doing its job on any type of surface we end up racing on.
When innovative technology, engineering, and customer support both in the shop and at the track matter to you and your racing operation, look no further than Penske Racing Shocks.
Having the Right support in racing is everything. Penske has done just that! On and off the track, we know that Penske keeps us up front. Thank you to the team @ Penske for your support season after season!
Penske (Stephen Horn) has gone way beyond expectations, giving us great service and advice plus clearly recording everything that was done, and we now have the damping characteristics we need. He has always been available for technical interchanges about what I need and how to obtain it.
Jerry and the guys at Penske Shocks have gone out of their way to help me understand how shocks work and how important they are in my Street/NoPrep car program. It was a no brainer to go with Penske's in my new daily driver project. If you are ready to take your racing program to the next level, Penske is the only way to go.
Penske helped us all year long in the Championship hunt and the shocks are unbelievable quality. They give us the ability on track to outhandle our competition. We have huge thanks to give to Penske for the reliable product and the support. We appreciate the involvement with our Trans Am program and our professional racing efforts at F.A.S.T.
This has been the best money spent on my bike. Confidence, reliability, ease of adjusting properly has increased performance to a much higher standard than stock. You get more than just great parts when dealing with Penske Shocks, customer service is what you expect from a leader in their industry.
We (Granby Truck Shop) use and sell Penske shocks because from the beginning they have taken exceptional care of us. From the first phone call they answered all our questions and worked with us to perfect our shocks like we were long time customers. Now, after multiple sets on many different trucks we can order a set of shocks and know an all time best 60 ft is in the near future.
Not only did we get an amazing product but the support we received was above and beyond anything that we expected. I can say this about the company, the customer support is as amazing as the product that they produce. Thank you to everyone at Penske Shocks.
Penske Racing Shocks provide superior positive feedback, ultimately allowing a sense of comfort behind the wheel. These shocks give a true grasp of the car's attitude. When running inches off the wall at Port Royal positive feedback combined with driver comfort is key.
We use Penske Racing Shocks on all of our record-breaking race programs. The build quality of the assemblies and the quality of service run parallel to one another. The ability to bring data home from a race and have professional analysis on the behavior of our car has been a crucial component to our success in racing.
One of the reasons we love Penske shocks at RE Suspension is their consistency; very rarely do we need to tweak on their shocks to get the curves we want to see. Because of the piston options Penske offers, we can create almost any curve desired - their dampers are highly customizable because of the availability of options in bodies, metering rods, eyelets, etc. And we love that Penske is American based. Their design team is here in the US, which means they are always in touch with what our customer base needs most. Their parts are American made and that cuts down on production wait times for us, which is valuable to our turnaround times to our racers.
I love the wide range of compression and rebound adjustability along with the custom valving that has helped to improve my launch consistency tremendously. In addition, Penske's customer support team has been top notch.
A .969 60’ with a 90’s chassis, how could you not love Penske Shocks. They turned our whole program around. Thank you Penske Shocks for keeping us competitive year after year.
I always recommend Penske to others at the track - as I truly believe in the product, which helps me get faster and win races!
The first thing I noticed when I ran the Penske Shocks on my Kawasaki 400 Jr. Cup machine, was how well it took the bumps. I also noticed how easy it was to tune, and how such small changes to the shock translated to big solutions on the bike. The Penske Shocks are just so consistent and after two back to back MotoAmerica Championships, 29 MotoAmerica wins and over 100 club race wins and many club race championships, my shocks have literally NEVER let me down, we have never had even one problem with them!
I flew down to your NC location because they had just got done updating our shock dyno and I wanted to learn how to operate it correctly. Then I figured if I was going to fly down for that I might as well see if Penske still offered a shock school. I found out they did and it’s one on one.
My day spent at Penske racing shocks was well worth it. Andrew Mohn and the rest of the staff down there were great. Any questions I had got answered in detail. I learned how to operate the new dyno software. I learned different things I didn’t know about and couldn’t find much literature on. One thing I went to learn about that I didn’t know much about was the understanding of a base valve in a shock. How to build one, how to test just the base valve, how to bleed a basevalve. I learned what tools I needed to remove and install them.
But the biggest thing of all of it was the way the guys made feel, it was an awesome day. I learned more than I could retain in a day. All hands on whatever I wanted to mess with. I buy all my Penske shock parts through Andrew Mohn now I call him down there or his cell and he will let me bounce ideas off him and gets me the parts shipped right out. Would recommend this school anyone interested in wanting to learn more about suspension, shocks, dyno, or any other related parts.
Definitely recommend this class to any racer that wants to win. To be able to understand what is going on inside a shock and to understand how to adjust it adds another level of thinking to your setup. It also gives you piece of mind knowing that you can routinely check your shocks with confidence. Dennis Wells was fantastic and really took the time to make sure I understood exactly what I was doing and what each piece of the shock does.
