Spring Calculator Overview

The Excel spreadsheet document has two tabs per corner of the car:

  • Analysis (Run Comp tabs) - show your spring curve and allows you to easily and visually compare packages.

  • Entry Library (Run Entries tabs) - where you enter your data

On the second tab for each corner:

  • Enter your ride height, travel numbers, and spring loads into the top cells

  • Label track name + car corner in the Run/Event column

  • Add notes like baseline outing, spring pounds, with XX bump, etc.

  • Enter other test information as before in a new row

  • Go to the Analysis tab (Run Comp tab) for the corner you are working on and select the options you want to compare from the dropdown. This will populate the graph to see what it really did.

Run as many spring combinations as you want and save your work:

  • Make sure to save it somewhere you can find it! Save as you go!

  • Can transfer with a USB stick

  • RECOMMENDATION: Keep what you don’t like in your files too!

Please note:

  • You will need Excel to be able to use this program.

  • The document comes pre-loaded with some sample data to show how the graph works but should be replaced with your data.
