Darren Newport Joins Penske Racing Shocks

Reading, PA - October 10, 2011 - Darren Newport has joined the engineering department of Penske Racing Shocks, a world leader in suspension technology.

Newport, a graduate of the University of Coventry, United Kingdom, brings a vast combination of racing and design experience to Penske Racing Shocks. As a former employee of Penske Racing Shocks UK, Newport is familiar Penske Racing Shocks dedication to designing and manufacturing only the highest quality suspension products available. Furthermore, his previous employment with the Luczo Dragon Racing Indy Car team, as well as Nitron Shock Absorbers, UK, only complements his diverse knowledge of racing suspension.

As a design engineer, Newport will offer technical and design support to F1 clients, further develop the patented 3000 series active damper system, assist in the progress of the 2012 Indy Car chassis damper project, as well as progress the Penske Racing Shocks product line for various road based applications. In addition, Newport will be supporting a multitude of product line enhancements in the short track, sports car, stock car, motorcycle, and drag racing markets.
