PENSKE RACING SHOCKS HOSTS
PORSCHE CLUB OF AMERICA EVENT

Reading, PA — April 29, 2009 — Penske Racing Shocks (PRS), a world leader in racing damper technology, hosted its first Porsche Club of America Riesentöter Region (PCA), meeting at the Reading, Pennsylvania, main facility.

The event drew approximately 60 attendees and consisted of a casual tour of Penske Racing Shocks, followed by dinner and the membership meeting.

Representatives of Penske Racing Shocks and Competition Tire East (Goodyear Racing Tires) were on hand to answer questions regarding suspension and tire choices available for every level of racing. After the meeting, members were invited to circulate back through the shop and ask questions of the various PRS staff located in the departments of R & D, main assembly, motorcycle, and stock car. One of the PRS support vehicles was also available for touring.

Members were able to view a transparent shock that showed the effect and appearance of cavitation, and the effect it has on ones suspension. Additionally, members were able to view samples of NASCAR, motorcycle, F1, Indy Car, and drag products, as well as the new Porsche Suspension Packages offered by PRS.

The new Penske Racing Shocks Porsche Suspension Packages offer an inverted MacPherson style strut (co-developed with SPA Design, LTD., United Kingdom) and standard rear damper. The packages are available in multiple adjustment ranges to suit all levels and forms of driving style. The Pro-Packages feature dual-bleed shaft technology used in the highest forms of motorsports, while the Sport-Packages utilize single shaft rebound adjustment. The suspension packages use all of PRS’s standard components and pistons, allowing ultimate flexibility and options to the end-user.

Penske Racing Shocks was pleased to host its first PCA event and looks forward to working with the club in the future.
