PENSKE RACING SHOCKS ANNOUNCES
IN-HOUSE HOSE MANUFACTURING

Reading, PA — July 30, 2008 — Penske Racing Shocks, a world leader in racing shock technology, announced their new capability to manufacture racing damper hoses in-house.

Through a collaborative effort with Goodridge USA®, Penske Racing Shocks now self-assembles -5 hose assemblies with a straight, NPT, banjo, or swivel banjo end. Additionally, Stäubli® quick-disconnect couplers are able to be incorporated into custom hoses for special applications.

All hoses feature a carbo line finish and have Raychem® ends to finish the swaged areas. Penske Racing Shocks’ hoses are of the highest quality and tolerances, as 100% pressure testing is standard.

Penske Racing Shocks Director of Operations, Ed Lendacki, stated “In-house hose production has significantly reduced lead time for the customer, as well as provided Penske Racing Shocks with the capability to offer customizing options that are so important in the markets of today.
