    Vesrah Suzuki Riders Finish Daytona Sportbike Race 2 in 7th and 12th Place and 11th in Supersport Race 2 at Mid Ohio
    Vesrah Suzuki’s Cory West took 7th place Sunday in Daytona SportBike Race 2 at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington Ohio. Chris Fillmore rebounded from an early crash to finish 12th and currently is 9th in the points chase. Cory is now back into 5th place in the season point standings after slipping back to 6th after the previous round. Nick Hansen repeated his performance from the previous day with an 11th place finish in Supersport Race 2. read more

With no B main, there was no opportunity to get your qualifying time back behind the inversion so the fast qualifiers that did not transfer out the heats were forced to start in the back of the field. read more

    Bronze Star Racing’s Aaron Pine of La Mirada, CA, earned the victory at the JEGS NHRA Pacific SPORTSnationals, Sportsman Motorcycle Class, presented by Harley-Davidson. Aaron rode rode the Lucas Oil/Bronze Star Racing Kawasaki past former Pro Stock Motorcycle racer, Sean Conner, in the final round.     Dawsonville, GA (May 17, 2010) - Chase Elliott had an exciting weekend of firsts at Rockingham Speedway in North Carolina last weekend. He started his Aaron’s 2010 Ford Mustang in the Sunoco National Tour series for the first time. He sat on the pole for the event and led every lap to post a win in his first race on a one-mile oval race track. read more

    Vesrah Suzuki Riders Finish 5th and 7th in Daytona Sportbike Race 2 at the West Coast Moto Jam at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma
    Sonoma, CA (May 16, 2010) - Vesrah Suzuki finished up a difficult weekend with rider Cory West rebounding from a crash during morning warm up to finish 5th in Daytona Sportbike Race 2 at Infineon Raceway and Chris Fillmore continued with his string of strong top 10 finishes with 7th place. Cory now sits in 5th place in the season points and Chris is in 8th. The team is now looking forward to the next round at Road America in Elkhart Lake WI, which is the team’s home race with the race shop located a little over an hour from the track. read more

    Slowe Leads Maryland Winners
    It was a gamble when perennial champion Mike Slowe parked his familiar navy blue, Orient Express Pro Street championship winning Suzuki Hayabusa and climbed onto the tiny PTR GSX-R1000. After all, the ‘Busa was still getting quicker, running teens last year. The GSX-R was built for a smaller rider and failed to get well-sorted in an entire season. If Slowe failed to win with the GSX-R, it would look bad for PTR and their decision to build a 1000. read more

    Vesrah Suzuki has a Weekend Filled with Ups and Downs at the AMA Pro Racing Suzuki Superbike Showdown at Road Atlanta
    Union Grove, WI (April 20, 2010) - The AMA Pro Racing event at Road Atlanta during the Suzuki Superbike Showdown saw Vesrah Suzuki’s Cory West on the #57 GSX-R 600 achieve a milestone for the team as he finished both Daytona SportBike races on the podium. These were the first podium appearances for the team since switching to competing full time in AMA Pro Racing competition this year. It only took 3 events for Cory and the team to find their way to the front of the field with a 2nd place in Daytona SportBike Race 1 and 3rd in Race 2. Chris Fillmore continues to make progress on the set up of his #55 Vesrah Suzuki GSX-R 600 finishing in 9th position in Daytona SportBike Race 1 and moving forward 1 place to finish 8th in Race 2. read more

    Goliad, TX – Gates Sets New Top Speed Record. On March 27, 2010 Tom Gates of La Porte, Texas jumped from #10 on the “Standing Mile Over 200” list to the #1 spot with an amazing run of 261.500 making him the new owner of the all-time record for the standing mile on a motorcycle. In the world of land speed racing, the standing mile 200mph mark is so passé that it only places you #169 on the all-time list over 200. The 210 mark has a ranking of 78th, 220 the ranking of 40th, 230 the ranking of 24th, and 240 the ranking of 14th. Only seven men held claim to the 250 honors until this weekend. Lee Shierts was the lonely man on top of the boards with his record run of 260.288 set at Maxton back in 2006. read more

    Union Grove, WI (March 29, 2010) - Vesrah Suzuki development rider Nick McFadden will contest the 2010 USGPRU championship with the season opening East Coast region round this weekend April 3-4 at Jennings GP being his first race of the season. Nick will be competing on Moriwaki race bikes this year and running in the 125GP, MD250H and 250GP classes. Nick has been staying sharp by attending the Schwantz School and racing his dirt track machinery. Nick will also compete in as many WERA events this year as his schedule will allow. read more

    Auto Club Speedway Race 2 has Vesrah Suzuki Riders Finishing in 7th and 8th Place
    Vesrah Suzuki concluded the Auto Club Speedway AMA Pro Racing weekend in Fontana, CA with a 7th place finish for Cory West and 8th place for Chris Fillmore. The team tested some changes in morning warm up that seemed promising for the races later that day but still had some grip issues with the Dunlop tires during the race this afternoon. Vesrah Suzuki heads to the next round at Road Atlanta with Cory in 5th place in the season points and Chris in 10th place and looking to move both riders higher up in the standings. Also look for an announcement on a special project the team is undertaking at the Road Atlanta round. read more

    Fontana, CA (March 27, 2010) - With more than only the 10 days that were available to complete the team’s race bikes before the season opener, Vesrah Suzuki was able to better prepare the Suzuki GSX-R 600’s for Round 2 at Auto Club Speedway. Chris Fillmore has joined the team riding the #55 Vesrah Suzuki and quickly adapted to the team’s machines qualifying in 10th position.     On October 1, 2008, after five days of pushing their streamliner motorcycle to new limits on the salt flats of Bonneville, the Top 1 Ack Attack team achieved what it came to do - topple the existing absolute FIM motorcycle land speed record with a blistering 360.913 mph run. At 8:58 MST, team owner Mike Akatiff, driver Rocky Robinson and crew shattered the existing 350.884mph record set by Denis Manning and Chris Carr in 2006.
